On-Call: 3-week rotation

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep our community running smoothly while providing exceptional service to our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Responding to resident service requests professionally and promptly
• Troubleshooting and completing general plumbing, appliance, electrical and HVAC repairs
• Completing apartment turns and preparing homes for new residents
• Performing preventative and general property maintenance
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager and onsite team
• Following company safety procedures and applicable safety standards
• Helping maintain the appearance, quality and overall condition of the community
• Participating in the property's rotating on-call schedule
• Attending training and development programs as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver's license required
• Must live within approximately 30 minutes of the property due to the on-call rotation
• 1–2 years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of general plumbing, appliance repair, minor electrical and HVAC troubleshooting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized, dependable and able to prioritize service requests effectively
• Positive, solutions-oriented attitude
• Ability to participate in the required on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays when scheduled
• Successful completion of required background and drug screening prior to employment
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and carrying 50+ pounds as needed and climbing ladders, bending, kneeling and working in confined spaces
